Max Keisler’s preceding kosher-by-habit post makes a lot of sense to me. But had he seen the video I did yesterday, I have to wonder if he would consider moving from “semi-traditional” to 100 percent traditional.
What did I see yesterday? Probably one of the most revolting yet incredibly entertaining videos on Youtube. It’s called Epic Meal Time. Basically a few guys (and sometimes a few girls) with a certain predilection for bacon create bizarre culinary combinations. This video was particularly swine-influenced, including a whole pig. The amount of grease and lard makes me never want to go treif again. Although clearly not all Jews felt the same effect; witness assimilation run its course at 2:23.
