Bullying Is Antithetical To Judaism’: An Open Letter to Jewish Teens and College Students
That nugget of wisdom is by Rabbi Steve Wernick and is sure to be read and internalized by all twelve Jewish college students who read The Jewish Week. This is a shame, because the letter sends a commendable and important message, and more students should see it.
Naturally, Wernick is concerned with this issue and wants to make sure that he refers his readers to the experts. And by that, I mean he refers us to the homepage of USY, the Conservative movement’s high school youth organization, because he’s the head of the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism.
So that all made sense.
