If The Birds and Pigs Can’t Do It…

The hot video of the day, “Angry Birds Peace Treaty,” hilariously illustrates how futile peace discussions can prove to be. The birds and the pigs are trying to broker a peace agreement, after what seems like much “hardship” and failed attempts in the past. The video, posted on Israel’s long-standing comedy/satire show ‘Eretz Nehederet‘ ( A Wonderful Country), shows how arbitrary and emotionally-charged such a process can be: one of the birds sets off the pigs by telling his fellow bird to show some respect and “stop eating like a pig.” Truly insightful in my opinion, the segment ends with the whole process being a kind of video game, showing how these peace attempts can come off as being as silly as a video game. Hilarious.
