• Yesterday, Ga’reen, Carnegie Mellon and Pitt’s Jewish Environmental Group hosted a global telecast of “With Earth and Each Other” from the Arava Institute. (General Pittsburgh)

• J Street U will be holding a demonstration against the Hebron Aid Flotilla’s annual fundraiser, at 6 PM tomorrow at Chelsea piers. The organization believes that this will be the first ever student-led American Pro Israel demonstration in favor of Palestinian statehood. (General NYC)

• Chabad of Carnegie Mellon held a Shabbat Dinner with Tamir Goodman, “the Jewish Jordan,” a pro-basketball player and Orthodox Jew this Friday evening, at their home. (Carnegie Mellon)

• Colorado U celebrated 100 years of Jewish writing with the launch of the Brian E. Lebowitz collection of 20th century Jewish American literature, presented by the Program in Jewish Studies. The event will feature readings by CU’s own Steve Katz and Sidney Goldfarb and UC-Berkeley’s Robert Alter. (CU)
