Our Jewish President

You heard it here first.  If Clinton was the first African-American president, we get Barack Obama.  A June 2008 Pew Research Center survey found that 1% of Americans actually think he’s Jewish, and who can blame them?  He’s a laywer from Chicago with a yiddishe kopf and a first name that means “lightning” in Hebrew.   And to think, we almost settled for Lieberman.

In this issue, we have subversive advice from Aaron Sussman, an interview with non-Zionist Israeli MK Dov Khenin, a report on Jewish student life down under, and three original essays.  And, as always, news, reviews, and pictures of Jews.  Enjoy.
